Collect the beginning of spring exhibition of still lifes with flowers – a step banal and safe. Especially if the pictures will be many, and their authors will be good artists – then the fabric will develop themselves in a poetic text, and even curatorial effort is needed.

“House Naschokina” has collected more than a hundred paintings from various collections – from the Tretyakov Gallery and the regional museums to private collections in Moscow. Their authors – hundred of the most celebrated artists of the twentieth century, from Aristarchus Lentulova and Natalia Goncharova to Natalia Nesterova and Tatyana Nazarenko. Theme exhibition organizers took a very wide: there are not only still lifes and landscapes but with flower beds and blossoming cherry trees, the flowers are not only against the background of portraits, but also on the dresses models.

“Bouquet” will lush: next will hang scratchy “Ironweed” by Natalia Goncharova, the brightest, “fat” flowers Saryan, almost tangible bundle of wildflowers Petr Konchalovsky, twisting stems symbolist Nicholas Millioti melting and water-color petals Arthur Fonvizina. Without a welter certainly will not do, but in the spring it is forgivable.
