Gallery “House Nashokin” is located in an old mansion in the center of Moscow, near the Triumphal Square. Here his friend, the famous philanthropist and patron of the arts, Paul Voinovicha Nashokin repeatedly stopped Alexander Pushkin, he was here in his last visit to Moscow in 1836.   Gallery “House Nashokin” opened in May 1994, the exhibition charts Mikhail Shemyakin. The exhibition was a resounding success, and all its subsequent exposure we dedicated to artists of the sixties, whose work for many years was recognized as an official art. Their names were often heard at all, but the work is still exhibited only in the West. Thanks solo exhibition “Home Nashokin” our compatriots were able to get acquainted with the work of these artists. So, here for the first time after emigration exhibited the aforementioned Mikhail Shemyakin (two shows), Oleg Tselkov, Ernst Neizvestny, Dimitri P Lavinsky, Yuri Kuper, and living in Moscow, Mikhail Shvartsman, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev etc.   Exhibition activities gallery has several main areas: the modern art world, historical museum theme (exhibition of classical art from the collections of the best Russian museums – the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, etc.), a photo exhibition dedicated to the great men of the past century (Rudolf Nureyev, Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe, etc.).
